So what?! If you have ever watched a baseball game then you are qualified to play. You'll love it! We've had people who have watched their kids play for years but never got on the other side of the fence who now play regularly. Kids who gave up on baseball in their early years have found 5-Pitch Plucky® to ignite their interest in playing again. Regardless of your experience or skill level, it's fun. Get INTO the game! 

We haven't come across a game yet that hasn't included a cross-section of player skills, gender, age, or physical characteristics (just look at some of the photos on this website!). Some games have had 10 year-olds playing with former MLB players. Every game has been a blast for everyone.  

Heck yes. Of course they can and they have a blast. There have been so many females who have played 5-Pitch Plucky® we can't keep count. We welcome anyone who wants to throw, catch, and bat. 

Seasons are either 6-10 games depnding on the neighborhood. We play at the same field on the same day at the same time, making it easier to coordinate on your calendar. Games are typically four innings and run no longer than an hour and a half.

There are no practices. We show up each week for games and do our best. It's fun because it's really about the joy of the game, not the points on the board at the end. Kind of like life.

No problem. We understand busy schedules. The format is flexible so that if you can't play one game or two, we'll still field two teams and have a great time without you. We'll miss you, but we'll play without you. : )

Our youth players like to wear baseball pants so they can slide. The adults don't slide all that much so they typically wear shorts. Registered pluckers wear their reversible jerseys over a T-shirt. Cleats or tennis shoes are fine. We're out here to HAVE FUN.

Don't worry about spending money before playing, there are community gloves, helmets, and bats available at every game. 

It depends. There are no bat restrictions for youth players. For adults in certain camaraderies, players will be assigned a particular type of bat so nobody gets hurt.
