It's so frustrating! You know your ballplayer can swing the bat and hit the ball a long way. He does it all of the time in practice but for some reason come game time, everything falls apart. It's tough to see this happen to your child because you just know he's better than that. At this age, the only way to gain confidence is getting more "game-speed" reps at the plate. 

In a typical baseball game at this age, your ballplayer will only get 1.4 plate appearances over the course of 3 innings that takes around an hour and forty minutes. How do you expect them to improve at that rate? That's not enough "game-speed" opportunities. Sure, batting practice and cage work help, but that's not the same as playing in a competitive situation. 5-Pitch Plucky® was designed to give ballplayers 4X more plate appearances in less time resulting in more confidence at the plate. 

With more plate appearances comes more balls in play. With more balls in play comes defensive chances. 5-Pitch Plucky® is a "baseball merry-go-round" that provides lots of reps for all aspects of the game. We've simply modified the rules a bit to amp up the action. As a result, it is a TON OF FUN!  

It's a common phrase that you’ll hear at youth baseball games. It’s not that the kids playing don’t love the game, they just get bored really easily because the game is slow and consists mainly of walks and steals. Very few balls are hit into play which means there’s very little defensive activity. Thus, “baseball ready” becomes the rallying cry for coaches and parents alike who see their ballplayer staring off into the distance knowing that a baseball will seldom come their way. 5-Pitch Plucky® has changed youth baseball with an action-packed game that could be called "revolutionary."  

Games always seem to be a long way away and scheduled at the worst time. In addition, if you have to arrive early, you spend more time not playing than you do playing. At least practice is on the same night at the same time but then again, the practice field is just far enough away that it's silly to go home and then come back. The reality is, baseball takes a lot of time out of your life.

The biggest insult is that your ballplayer isn't a ballplayer, but a "benchwarmer" who never gets a chance to prove otherwise. At this age, do you really know what position best suits your ballplayer? Doesn't your ballplayer deserve the opportunity to play?
