5-Pitch Plucky® is fun because no one is playing to get recruited to the MLB. We high five each other - a lot regardless of what team we're on. We build each other up. We compete but casually. It's the joy of playing the game. The smell of grass. The impact of the ball in your mitt. The sound of the bat connecting for a hit. The thrill of running around the bases towards home. This is baseball. This is baseball fun for everyone.

5-Pitch Plucky® removed the slow parts of the game. Our innovative format creates more balls in play, ensuring a fast-paced baseball experience that keeps ballplayers on their toes.

In the beginning, as parents watched their kids play 5-Pitch Plucky®, they expressed a desire to join in the fun as well. Now, there are games available for both younger and older ballplayers, making it an inclusive baseball experience for all. Its popularity is skyrocketing, leading to rapid expansion across the country.

Play once, and you'll understand why 5-Pitch Plucky® is quickly becoming the next Pickleball—but for baseball. Teams are randomly formed before each game from a group of 20 ballplayers, a "camaraderie." Realizing that we're on the Same Team. One Team, players promote each other during games rather than what traditionally happens in competitive situations. 5-Pitch Plucky® promotes inclusive baseball fun for everyone.

We set the tone for a casual, yet competitive, game of fast-paced baseball, by shouting:

"We're out here to HAVE FUN.

What if I have never played baseball before?

So what?! If you have ever watched a baseball game then you are qualified to play. You'll love it! We've had people who have watched their kids play for years but never got on the other side of the fence who now play regularly. Kids who gave up on baseball in their early years have found 5-Pitch Plucky® to ignite their interest in playing again. Regardless of your experience or skill level, it's fun. Get INTO the game!

What if I have played baseball before...will I have fun with first timers?

We haven't come across a game yet that hasn't included a cross-section of player skills, gender, age, or physical characteristics (just look at some of the photos on this website!). Some games have had 10 year-olds playing with former MLB players. Every game has been a blast for everyone.

Can females play?

Heck yes. Of course they can and they have a blast. There have been so many females who have played 5-Pitch Plucky® we can't keep count. We welcome anyone who wants to throw, catch, and bat.

What does a typical season look like?

Seasons are eight games. We play at the same field on the same day at the same time, making it easier to coordinate on your calendar. Games are typically four innings and run no longer than an hour and a half.

Is attending practices required?

There are no practices. We show up each week for games and do our best. It's fun because it's really about the joy of the game, not the points on the board at the end. Kind of like life.

What if I can't make every game?

No problem. We understand busy schedules. The format is flexible so that if you can't play one game or two, we'll still field two teams and have a great time without you. We'll miss you, but we'll play without you. : )

How do I register for a camaraderie?

What should I wear to a game?

Our youth players like to wear baseball pants so they can slide. The adults don't slide all that much so they typically wear shorts. Registered pluckers wear their reversible jerseys over a T-shirt. Cleats or tennis shoes are fine. We're out here to HAVE FUN.

What if I don't have a glove or a bat or a batting helmet?

Don't worry about spending money before playing, there are community gloves, helmets, and bats available at every game.

What types of baseball bats can be used in a 5-Pitch Plucky® game?

It depends. There are no bat restrictions for youth players. For adults in certain camaraderies, players will be assigned a particular type of bat so nobody gets hurt.
